What an inspirational lady , indeed – puts problems into perspective, doesn’t it, when you hear other people’s “bigger” stories…?

I had a dear friend who was paralysed in a crash. Her courage and fortitude and the things she achieved and was able to do despite the “you’ll never be able to do that” brigade were inspirational.

“Pat would have loved to have been able to do that,” I say to myself sternly if I’m feeling lazy or unmotivated.

Wonderful lady so sadly no longer with us. ‘Her feet can run free now” one of her daughters said to me at her funeral. And that’s how I like to think of her.
